Doubles Poster

This is my doubles poster. I had to write what makes a double. Examples: 7 +7 =14 and 9+9 = 18 then I had to add some pictures to it.

My Recount Scraffold

Beginning - this includes your hook. Start your recount with an exciting beginning that captures your audience interest levels	YES! I went to Hunters Plaza. I was really excited going to Hunters Plaza. I went with my aunty and my sisters.

Me and My sisters had Mcdonalds. I also had some of my sisters nuggets that were golden inside like the potatoes how they are golden.  What I had from Mcdonald's was a crispy chicken wrap with aioli sauce, Salad, and some tomatoes it was delicious.   Next we went to the fish ‘n’ chips shop to buy my mum some food. Then I went to drop my mum some food off. After that we went to my dad’s training.Me and my brother stayed at the tranning with my dad. We went to the Park. The first thing we did was that we went to the swings. Then we went to the sand pit and build a volcano with water inside it, it was awesome. Then me and my brother went to have a race on the spiderman web. I was the first one to touch the top and get down first.
Conclusion Sums up how you felt about the experience.	After we came down I felt happy because I got to play with my brother and have fun. I was really happy that my brother came with me. I felt really happy.

Today I have made a recount scaffold about what I did in the holidays. This. is my recount and I have finished it today.

My xtramaths results

Today I did my xtra maths. I have got 3 wrong and 21 right and 1 smiley face. I have just have to practice a little bit harder on my xtra maths.

My Recount Writing Structer

Today I learnt what a recount is. A recount retells and describe the past event. I am also learning about what  about what a orientation is. An orientation is when you put When, Where, Who, Why,What and how into your recounts. We also learnt what a summary is. A summary is the end of a piece of writing.

Thinking Groups

Today my group had to solve a problem. The problem was  There are six circles in each row. There are five rows of circles. How many circles are there altogether. That was our problem.

1. What are you most pleased with? Why / why not?

I am pleased with my background because it looks good and it also matches the fruit.

2. What did you learn from creating your still life painting?

Think about sketching, shape, size, balance, painting-blending of colours, painting within the lines

What I learnt was that I had to blend my colours together so it stands out.

3. What did you find easy?

Think about sketching, shape, size, balance, painting-blending of colours, painting within the lines

What I found  easy was to draw my fruit onto the piece of paper.

4. What did you find difficult?

Think about sketching, shape, size, balance, painting-blending of colours, painting within the lines

What I found difficult was blending  my colours together so it does not look like a beach towel. I had to not overly mix my two colours.

5. Who did helped you with your still life painting?

My teacher Miss Paton helped me with my painting so I could finish it.

6. What would you change? why / why not?

I would change my apple so it looks

7. What would you do to improve your still life painting next time?

What I would improve next time is that i would make my fruits bigger.

Xtra Maths Results

Today I have done my xtra maths. I have got two wrong and twenty one right. I just have to work a little bit harder on my xtra maths to get on the next level.
